    This really is important information with 1 in 8 homes having pools in FL. I bet Clearwater might be even higher! ~Susie Roscoe~

  2. Good post. Up in Pensacola, I don’t think our pool ratio is quite 1 in 8 homes. We do not get as many pool days as the rest of the state, since it gets cooler up here. But most everyone I know who owns a pool has had issues, so I tell my clients it is critical to get the pool inspected. (Along with everything else). If they balk at a few hundred for an inspection, I can just tell them about your post, and many other horror stories I know.

    This has been a learning experience even for those buying now and those looking to buy a home or condo in the Clearwater Beach, FL. in the future. To have this knowledge when you are ready to make the purchase is invaluable. Who would have ever thought after that that pool had so many problems that could add up to such a huge bill!
