  1. Cyndee – What a fun event! I haven’t been on a moving boat of any kind since I lived in Texas almost 30 years ago. The last time I was actually on a boat was a luxury yacht in Canada about 25 years ago but I wasn’t able to get out on the waters. What a great way to enjoy the waters in Florida. – Ashley

  2. Sandi Bauman says:

Sounds like lots of fun! What a dream that would be… to have a waterfront home in Tampa Bay or St Petersburg. We don’t have a lot of water to enjoy around Chico!

  3. Ashley, it’s quite a show with lots of boating options from small fishing boats to large luxury yachts.

  4. The St. Petersburg Boat Show is going to be a fantastic event for the Gulf Coast!Sounds like they are offering something for everyone including the kids! Lucky people who reside year round in St.Pete and Tampa Bay!

  5. I love riding on boats. Especially other peoples boats. When I had a boat, maintenance and expenses were very high. And back then gas prices were much lower. In salt water environments like Clearwater, a lot of cleaning is required. One day when I have more money, I’m going to buy a nice boat so my kids can go out and have a blast. A buddy of mine told me he always bought the coolest toys (like boats and bikes) so his kids would stay close to home. It worked. Nobody was more fun to hang with than dad.

  6. susie roscoe says:

The boat shows are so fun! If nothing else but to “Wish Shop…” the boats are beautiful and you’re “right there” so why not stick around and see a beautiful sunset and take a walk! The weather is (still) P-E-R-F-E-C-T!! ~Susie Roscoe~

  7. Alex Maslakov says:

I am from St.Petersburg, Russia. I like my city very much, but I also like St.Petersburg, Florida. What a pity there are no Boat Show in my city, because we have cold climate. So interesting read about St.Petersburg sister city – St.Petersburg, Florida. So interesting!
