Clearwater Beach Florida – Clearwater Beach Florida wasn’t voted “best Family Beach on the Gulf of Mexico” for nothing…there are always fun things to do there from the nightly Sunset Celebration to watching movies on the beach this fall on Friday and Saturday nights. The Pier 60 movies will begin shortly after sunset (to maximize your viewing pleasure). This is Clearwater Beach’s version of the old-time “drive in movie” we used to enjoy as kids however now we’re using a huge inflatable screen situated right on one of Florida best beaches so bring your lawn chairs or blankets and come enjoy some great movies tonight through the end of October.
Also if you’re not familiar, Pier 60 has nightly artisans and crafts people to entertain and delight you as well as 2 covered playgrounds the kids enjoy. So even if you come early you’ll find plenty to do.
I know the calendar says we are now officially in “Fall” however if you live in Clearwater Beach area it’s hard to tell since we’ve still got hot days with temperatures in the 90’s but the good news is we are now we are getting fabulous nights so why not check out Pier 60 at sunset this weekend and enjoy Clearwater Beach for Movies on the Beach – the best part is it won’t break your wallet.

Here’s an article we shared on Pier 60 Sunsets back in 2007 – It’s still one of our favorite Clearwater beach sunset spots => Clearwater Beach Florida’s Pier 60 – Sunday Sunset.
